She has also been listed in the Legal 500, where she has been described as “exceptional. She is a natural in dealing with complex international surrogacy cases. I often forget that she is only a few years’ PQE, as she has the experience and knowledge of partner, without being over-confident”

Since qualifying in April 2018 Victoria has developed a specialism in international surrogacy, a niche and growing area of Family Law which she is passionate about. Victoria assists intended parents in obtaining  Parental Orders so they can be recognised as the legal parents of their children born through surrogacy. Victoria has worked with a wide range of clients who have chosen to enter into surrogacy arrangements in a variety of different countries including the Ukraine, the US, South Africa, Ghana and Nigeria.

Victoria also works on a wide range of cases involving all areas of family law as listed above. Victoria is a member of Resolution and in accordance with the organisation’s Code of Practice, she places a strong emphasis on resolving issues in a constructive way. Since qualifying Victoria has been able to secure  financial settlements for many of her clients through negotiations outside of the court room.

Victoria joined Bishop & Sewell following the merger with Fisher Meredith in August 2017. She originally joined Fisher Meredith as a Trainee Solicitor in September 2016. During her training contract Victoria completed seats in Immigration, Residential Conveyancing and Family Law. Prior to starting her training at Fisher Meredith, Victoria gained valuable experience as a paralegal in Family and Criminal law in two leading city firms.

Victoria graduated from the University of the West of England with First Class Honours in 2011 and completed the Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Guildford in 2012.
