Tom is a Solicitor in the Landlord and Tenant team

Tom joined Bishop and Sewell in March 2023, having qualified as a solicitor in September 2021.

Since qualification, Tom has worked in a broad range of residential landlord and tenant matters, acting for both landlords and tenants in both contentious settings (such as breach of covenant and service charge disputes) and transactional settings (such as licences to alter and the sale/purchase of various interests in property). Tom takes as his particular focus the variety of transactions and statutory claims stemming from leasehold reform legislation, including collective enfranchisement, lease extension (both houses and flats) and Right to Manage claims.

Education

Tom graduated with a BA in English Literature from the University of York before going on to obtain his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course qualification from BPP University in London.
