Commercial Property Paralegal

Bishop & Sewell LLP is a commercial law firm based in Central London.  We are looking to recruit a paralegal to assist in the Commercial Property team (with an element of residential property).

The position ideally requires someone who has property paralegal experience.  The post will involve providing administrative support for the team covering a wide range of  commercial conveyancing to include plot sales, investment purchases, developer purchase and sales, lease renewals and general landlord and tenant work, some residential conveyancing including general advice on leases, preparing SDLT and  HM Land Registry applications and post completion work.  Applicants must have excellent written and spoken English, good typing skills and be generally IT literate.

Leasehold Reform / Landlord & Tenant Solicitors – Full-time, Permanent

The award-winning leasehold reform team at Bishop & Sewell LLP continues to go from strength to strength. We are always looking for excellent people to join our growing team. In particular, if you are a 2-5 year qualified solicitor with a following and would like to talk to us, then please contact Louise Moyles – in confidence to discuss further. As we continue to grow our business we are particularly keen to hear from senior fee earners with a following who are looking for an excellent platform from which to service their existing client needs, or who may want the opportunity to refer or work syngergistically with a dynamic Central London law firm.

We are able to offer flexible working arrangements and remote working technology for the right people. This opportunity may particularly suit a more senior fee earner looking to wind down a practice or to hand work on in a mutually beneficial way, or those who want to work part-time. We offer a commission on work introduced and we have an excellent office environment and support team. We are looking to appoint a Float/PA. The role will be to act as a float within our growing business. We are looking to appoint a qualified senior secretary with a broad range of skills. The role will involve working with a number of senior leads within the firm and reporting directly to the head of resources.

Previous experience of working in a law firm in a legal secretarial capacity is mandatory. Knowledge and experience of working in Property, Family, Litigation, Company and Commercial and Employment is required.

Legal Secretary

We are looking to appoint a qualified legal secretary. The role will be within our Landlord and Tenant team and will involve assisting with a period of short-term cover initially. The successful candidate may also work for other teams within our business.

The role may suit a recently qualified legal secretary, although we will also consider applications from people with relevant previous legal secretarial experience.  Previous knowledge or experience of working in leasehold reform is not essential, but an interest in or awareness of our work in this area will be an advantage. Other relevant experience in the property field will also be an advantage.

Business Development Manager (part-time)

 Can you work creatively and get things done?       

Bishop & Sewell Solicitors LLP is a successful and growing law firm, providing a full range of personal and business services to small-medium sized companies, family trusts and high net worth individuals.

The firm employs around c100 people, based in offices in Russell Square, London. We are looking for a part-time, 3 days a week Business Development Manager – reporting to the firm’s Marketing Partner, and working alongside a Marketing Communications Manager. You will receive support and guidance, but the role provides a significant degree of autonomous responsibility.

As such, we are looking for someone who is mature in outlook, able to work on their own and get things done, as well as in a team.
