Nadine Esaid is a Solicitor in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.
Nadine primarily focuses on civil litigation matters including contractual and property disputes, harassment, plus a particular focus on the contentious probate sector.
She joined Bishop & Sewell as a paralegal in October 2020 from a Maritime Litigation law firm in central London. In 2021, she commenced her training contract and had experienced seats in Landlord & Tenant, Corporate and Commercial, Private Client and Litigation.
Nadine advises on challenges brought against a deceased’s estate under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975 for reasonable financial provision, estate administration disputes, claims against executors and personal representatives, disputes relating to obtaining a Grant of Probate, as well as claims challenging the validity of wills.
Nadine is a member of the Contentious Trusts Association (ConTrA) and a student member of the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS). The ACTAPS Course Is for lawyers specialising in contentious wills, trusts and probate work and is often seen as a kite mark of expertise in this complex area of law. Nadine is a Dementia Friend, which is an initiative of the Alzheimer’s Society, and has also completed several professional development courses in probate and estate administration, mental capacity and wills.
She has a degree in Law from Middlesex University and subsequently undertook the legal practice course (LPC) professional qualification at The University of Law.
Nadine is bilingual in English and Arabic.
