Gabrielle Moniz is a Trainee Solicitor in the Landlord & Tenant team.

Gabrielle finished her pupillage at an international law firm in Bermuda, where she was called to the Bermuda Bar. Amongst other things, she also worked in the BPP Legal Advice Clinic for Housing when completing her LPC.

Gabrielle joined Bishop & Sewell in 2022 as a Paralegal in the Private Client department. She gained experience assisting the Trust Manager in day-to-day trust administration and tax returns. In April 2024, Gabrielle commenced her training contract in the Commercial Property department, which she followed with a return to the Private Client team and her second training seat.  She is undertaking her third training seat with our Landlord & Tenant team.

Gabrielle has taken part in volunteer work with Refugees both abroad and in the UK.

  • Law LLB, University of Southampton (with an Erasmus year abroad in Lyon at Université Lumière Lyon II, studying French law)

About Me

My alternative career choice: If I had not pursued a career in law, I would have become a psychologist. I studied psychology at A level and have kept up with it ever since. I believe that attempting to understand the way our brains work is essential to the understanding of our actions. This is of great importance in the law too.
