Alex Greenslade was the co-founder and a director of ALEP (the Association of Leasehold Enfranchisement Practitioners) and the founder director of Leasehold Solutions.

Alex set up Leasehold Solutions together with his sister Anna Bailey in 2001. This project management company has led and managed many successful enfranchisement projects and has gone from strength to strength over the last 15 years. In addition, he was a co-founder of ALEP which has over the last 11 years become the leading industry body for all practitioners involved in the enfranchisement sector.

Mark Chick and Chris Macartney have issued the joint statement below:

“Alex was a generous and kind-hearted individual who used his love of performance and theatre to great effect to put on events and conferences that delivered a real difference in terms of their ability to connect and communicate with their audience. We cannot do justice in a few short words to the achievements and efforts that he managed in a few short years of life, but we can say with certainty that he will be fondly remembered by all of those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His efforts have made a real difference to the way in which leasehold has been approached and led to a great increase in awareness amongst leaseholders of their rights. As a friend and colleague he will be sorely missed.”
