A seminar was hosted by employment law experts to help business owners and HR professionals to provide a non-discriminatory workplace and deliver best practice initiatives.
Our employment law experts Rhian Radia, Partner and Head of the Employment team, and Solicitor Marianne Johnson delivered the free online webinar ‘Discrimination in the workplace’ on Wednesday 24 May 2023 from 9:30am – 10:30am.
Aimed at HR professionals, business owners and directors, the webinar delved into UK discrimination law, exploring what issues arise and importantly, what employers should be doing. A wide range of topics were covered including promoting inclusive policies, raising awareness of discrimination, providing diversity training, implementing fair recruitment and selection processes, and creating a supportive and inclusive work environment.
Rhian Radia said: “UK discrimination law is very fast moving, and as such it is vital that organisations keep ahead of the law to avoid any breaches and ensure they are providing an optimal and legally compliant working environment.
