Simren Savjani is a Trainee Solicitor in our Employment team.

Simren joined Bishop & Sewell in November 2020 from a leading regional firm. She has three year’s experience in Property Law, two of which are in Residential Property, and she is confident seeing freehold and leasehold sales, purchases and re-mortgages through from start to finish.

Simren chose to diversify her property knowledge and gained experience in our Landlord & Tenant team working with our senior partner for a year where she assisted with drafting statutory and non-statutory lease extensions, licenses to assign and assisted with several leaseholder owned freehold blocks in the central London area, advising them on day-to-day legal issues.

Simren completed her first seat in Landlord & Tenant, her second in Litigation and is now in her third seat in the Employment team.

Simren graduated from the University of Warwick in 2016 with a 2.1 honours degree in Philosophy before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practitioners Course from BPP Law School in London both with a Commendation. She took a year out between the two where she travelled solo around South-East Asia and gained work experience in a number of legal areas.

She has a proven track record in offering a personal and hands on service and is known for going above and beyond for her clients. Simren commenced her training contract in October 2022 and has completed her first seat in our Private Client department. Simren is now in her second seat with the Litigation and Dispute Resolution team.

About Me

I love travelling and exploring new cultures and cuisines. I enjoy spending time outdoors in nature and am a sucker for a beautiful sunset. I am a grade 8 singer and love the arts and theatre. On Sundays you’ll find me on the sofa with a cup of coffee and the Sunday Times style magazine.

Alternative career choice: To work in an animal rescue centre in Africa and pursue my love of wild beasts. Or be an editor for a high end fashion magazine…One of the two.

My favourite meal: For me nothing beats penne al arrabiata and a glass of good quality red wine.
