Michael Romain is an Associate Solicitor in our Private Client team.
Mike joined Monro Wright & Wasbrough in January 2019 as a Paralegal and Trust Administrator in the Private Client department, before completing his training contract at Bishop and Sewell and qualifying into the Private Client Department in February 2022.
Mike specialises in various onshore and offshore Private Client matters including Succession Planning, Trust Administration, Trust and Personal Taxation, Probate Applications and Estate Administration, as well as drafting and preparing Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney.
Mike graduated from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Law in 2017. He completed his Legal Practice Course with Masters Degree at BPP Law part-time alongside his training contract.
My hobbies: I like to keep active by playing football and going to the gym, but also enjoy getting stuck into a new series or film. I also enjoy ruining most weekends by watching Arsenal.
My alternative career choice: Being a barber is something I have always thought I would enjoy and be good at. Lockdown made this a possibility with my first customer being from my household – safe to say a career switch isn’t likely.
My favourite meal: Mum’s homemade lasagne.
