Michael is a Partner and Head of Corporate & Commercial

Michael Kashis joined Bishop & Sewell in 2014, as the Head of Corporate, he became a Partner in 2016 and an Equity Partner/Owner in 2017.

In the 14 years prior to joining Bishop & Sewell, he predominantly worked for international and multinational firms and institutions including one magic circle firm, one silver circle firm, the number one (for 9 separate years running) Global Mining Law Firm of the Year, the European Commission, the European Court of Auditors and a start-up upstream oil and gas company.

Geographically, his transactional work and personal experience spans across North America, Europe, the Middle East, Persia, Africa, India and Australia.

Michael is empathetic with a strong pedagogic streak, which permeates his practice and his department. In addition to the above, he completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in 2015 at Imperial College, which has greatly aided him in developing his commercial, pragmatic and tech friendly outlook to business and to advising clients.
