Matthew Davies

Matthew Davies is a Trainee Solicitor on an Intellectual Property secondment.

Matthew joined Bishop & Sewell in November 2022 as a Paralegal in the Litigation & Dispute Resolution department. He gained experience assisting throughout civil litigation proceedings as well as achieving settlements for clients by way of negotiation. Prior to this, Matthew helped to resolve a range of property and commercial disputes as a Paralegal at a law firm in the City of London.

In October 2023, Matthew commenced his training contract. He undertook his first seat in our Landlord & Tenant team, acting for clients on processes stemming from leasehold reform legislation. Matthew completed his second seat in the Corporate & Commercial team, where he primarily assisted clients with business acquisitions, corporate restructuring, and commercial agreements.

Now into his penultimate seat as a secondee in a specialist Intellectual Property practice, Matthew is gaining experience in trade mark and copyright matters.
