Jasmine is a Solicitor in our Employment team

Jasmine joined Bishop & Sewell in January 2021 and is a Solicitor in the Employment department.  Jasmine qualified as a Solicitor in September 2018 and subsequently worked at a firm which was highly ranked in advising on Employment law matters on the Legal 500.

Jasmine has experience of advising both employers and employees on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters. She undertakes a variety of employment work including advising clients in respect of employment contracts, settlement agreements, disciplinary and grievance procedures, redundancy matters and the enforcement of restrictive covenants.

Jasmine also has experience of bringing and defending Employment Tribunal claims for unfair dismissal, wrongful dismissal, sexual harassment, discrimination and victimisation.

Jasmine graduated from the University of Liverpool with a degree in History. After graduating, Jasmine completed the Graduate Diploma in Law and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law.

About Me

My hobbies: I am relatively new to running but have somehow managed to run 2 marathons and am potentially thinking about signing up for a third.

My alternative career choice: If I had not pursued a career in law, I absolutely love animals and so would probably have been a vet.

My favourite meal: I’d make a rubbish Vegan- it’s got to be steak and chips!
