Reducing Single-use Plastic in Bloomsbury
At Bishop & Sewell we’ve noticed how much the workers, residents and visitors in Bloomsbury like their coffee, tea, hot chocolate and other beverages. No surprise, then, that there is such an abundance of coffee shops in the local area. But that’s a lot of disposable cups!
Together with the Bloomsbury Festival we decided to see if we could, in our own small way, reduce the use of plastic and other waste in our lovely neighbourhood. Consequently, Bishop & Sewell and the Bloomsbury Festival have jointly commissioned a commemorative reusable coffee cup and are partnering with local coffee houses who are offering a discount* on hot drinks to anyone using our cup instead of the disposable kind normally provided.
Participating cafés are:
The Espresso Room – 31-35 Great Ormond Street, WC1N 3HZ
Fork Deli – 85 Marchmont Street, WC1N 1AL
