Bishop & Sewell has appointed Partners David Hodgson and Philip Rutter as the new Joint Heads of the firm’s highly respected Family Department.
David Hodgson joined the firm in 2017 and specialises in dealing with the financial aspects of Family law, particularly in divorce and separation cases. He is an advanced member of the Law Society Family Panel, a member and accredited specialist of Resolution, a trained mediator and a collaborative lawyer.
Philip Rutter joined the firm in 2016 and is a specialist family lawyer with significant experience in claims for financial provision on divorce, including pre- and post-nuptial agreements, and has a wealth of expertise in dealing with children cases. Many of Philip’s cases have an international dimension and he is a member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and a member of Resolution.
