‘Since the start of the lockdown in March 2020 ALEP has been at the forefront of good practice, from our work in developing the protocols that allow the electronic service of notices, to hosting online events in July for its members on the legal and valuation challenges of working in the COVID world. That is not to mention our round table on the Law Commission’s proposals to reform the law in this area. I am delighted to be associated with ALEP and I am constantly impressed with the dedication of both the team and our members which is why I am honoured to lead the discussions during our Conference this week.’
