We are delighted to announce the appointment of Paul Barnes as a Partner in the Residential Property team.

Paul is a UK qualified Solicitor with over 20 years’ experience in Residential and Commercial Property including Leasehold Enfranchisement expertise. He is widely experienced having held a number of roles in leading London and regional law firms where he acted for a range of clients from both the UK and overseas with a particular specialism in the prime Central London market. His expertise covers sales and purchases of leasehold and freehold properties, lettings/tenancies, financial structuring, commercial leases, enfranchisement and rural estates. Paul is also a City Representative on the Law Society Council and, in addition to his legal career, is a musician in the Volunteer Reserves (Band of the Royal Yeomanry, British Army) and has received the Voluntary Reserve Medal for long service.

In his new role at Bishop & Sewell, Paul will strengthen our residential offering and help to drive growth in this key practice area for the firm. In addition, Paul brings with him a loyal following of contacts along with an excellent track record of business development and strong client relationships.
