| Career: | Monika qualified in 1995 and has extensive experience in all aspects of family law particularly disputes concerning complex financial and children issues. She also advises on cases involving pre and post-marital agreements, co-habitation disputes, international child abduction, obtaining permission to remove children to live abroad and other related issues. Monika joined Bishop & Sewell from Christian Khan where she was a partner from 2004 to 2008 and the head of the family department. Monika is a bilingual German and English speaker and she previously worked for an accountancy firm in Germany. Memberships: ? Member of Association of Woman Solicitors (AWS) Reported cases: F v F [2009] EWHC 1448 (Fam) concerned a dispute about Jurisdiction in divorce proceedings; A v L [2010] All ER defended divorce proceedings, A v L [2010] 2 FLR 1418 dealt with the recognition of a foreign divorce and Angus v Emmott [2010] EWHC 154 (Ch) which involved the removal of executors appointed in a will in a miscarriage of justice case.
