Employment News - Update
The Employment Team has produced a Newsletter detailing recent changes in Employment Law such as:
Changes to Rates
- Minimum wage limits have increased
- A week's pay for purposes of compension and redundancy is now £380
Retirement
- Retirement age of 65 is still lawful
Holiday Leave
- Holiday leave entitlement does accrue even when an employee is on sick leave
Redundancy
- 'Last in first out' can be used as a criteria for redundancy.
